The Parent Collaborative
The Parent Collaborative was launched in order to help parents find ways through the maze of parenting young children. No easy task, but we know how you feel! We’ve been there!
As experienced Early Years’ educators we saw, and felt, that there was a lack of support for families going through a tough time with their children. As parents ourselves, we really do understand what you’re going through, you’re not alone.
We can arrange a 1:1 session with you, or you can meet up with other parents at one of our practical workshops or courses.
Wherever you are on your parenting journey, we can offer guidance without judgement - working alongside you to understand what’s happening, and to find practical, compassionate solutions that truly fit your family’s needs. The end goal is supporting parents to support their children.

Co-Founder, Reb
The Parent Collaborative was born from a lifelong friendship and a shared passion for children, learning, and the Montessori approach to education. Before this collaboration, they founded The Oval Montessori in South West London, which continues to thrive today, in Vauxhall Park. After moving from the capital, Reb went on to become Head of Early Years at a leading prep school in Somerset. Here she successfully implemented Montessori principles within the Nursery and Reception classes, guiding the team to achieve an Outstanding Ofsted report.
Alongside her teaching career, Reb trained in counselling with Place2Be, completed qualifications in Trauma Awareness and Mental Health and Wellbeing in The Early Years, with the charity Young Minds, and became a Mental Health First Aider. Within the charity sector, she has been a volunteer counsellor for Childline and a homevisiting volunteer for Homestart. She currently volunteers for the text crisis line SHOUT whilst, locally, in Bath, is a Resettlement and Befriending volunteer at Bath Welcomes Refugees.
As educators, mental health advocates, and parents ourselves, we understand both the joys and the challenges of raising children. Believe us — it’s often far easier to teach a class of thirty children, than to parent one of your own!
Where can you find us?
The office is based in the centre of the city of Bath in Somerset. We meet there with parents, as well as offering online support to parents all over the country.
If you’re looking for the right support for you, call us to set up a meeting - at our office or online, in order to achieve the outcomes you are aiming for with your family.
